SNL - a curiosity
Do ANY of you dear Beachcombers find SNL’s Andy Samberg funny? ( /Ben Stein voice: Anyone? Anyone?)
Me neither. Fire his ass. He is bringing the whole show down. He sucks - big time- and not in a good way.

I can’t remember any memorable sketches he’s been in beside two classic digital shorts. The Narnia one and the Young Chuck Norris one.

I don’t like him at all. He’s just not funny.
His “digital shorts” are not filmed on Saturday night, nor are they live. I don’t see how they even fit with the show.
The only people on the show that I find funny these days are Will Forte, Darrell Hammond, and Kristen Wiig. Seth Meyers has grown on me for Weekend Update, but only after having put up with several years of terrible delivery accompanied by the rocking motion of a withdrawn coke addict.
Fire the rest of them, especially Kenan Thompson. He’s only got one character: the stunned black guy. I just don’t find it funny at all. If SNL is only going to have one black guy, which is ridiculous to me, then the least they could do is find someone who is funny.

Fred Armisen is my favorite and probably the most talented person on the show.
