Drudge is reporting that tomorrow morning the NY Times is running a front page article “advanced privately by prominent Democrats” that more or less confirms my theory about Cheney’s heart doctor.
From Drudge:
Cheney recently dropped his personal doctor because of drug addiction so that he could hire a new one, who will conveniently tell him in August that his heart problems have made him unfit to run with Bush!

Wow, this amazes me. If this happens, it can either be only because 1) Cheney is very, very sick or 2) the Bush campaign is running scared, and sees Cheney as a liability. So who would step in to replace Cheney? Powell?
